[volunteergrid2-l] port help (was Re: New Members)

I've noticed a couple of things right away:

1. Your tub.location contains a hostname but no port. According to the
docs, a port is not mandatory, but...

If you don't provide ``tub.location``, the node will try to figure out a
useful one by itself, by using tools like "``ifconfig``" to determine the
set of IP addresses on which it can be reached from nodes both near and
far. It will also include the TCP port number on which it is listening
(either the one specified by ``tub.port``, or whichever port was assigned
by the kernel when ``tub.port`` is left unspecified).

The way I read this documentation, the behavior of `tahoe` is defined
when tub.location is not provided and when tub.location is set to
something of the form ip_address:port. It does not explicitly say that
it will use tub.port when tub.location contains only a hostname,
although that sounds like a sane default behavior it is likely to
employ.

You may want to consider setting tub.location to
masterme120.us.to:1027 and seeing what happens.

Also, it appears you have set shares.total equal to shares.happy. I
think I remember reading somewhere that a bug in tahoe can cause
problems if H is not at least one or two less than N. Or, maybe that's
not the case and I'm just tired.

Thanks,
Eric
