I've been in data processing since 1972.  Data security is always
important, but often overlooked or added at the last moment.  Tahoe-LAFS
can change this.

My favorite languages are:

   - S/370 Assembler;
   - C

Languages I know really well:

   - COBOL
   - PHP
   - HTML

Languages I'm learning (OO is new to me):

   - Python;
   - C++;
   - Ruby;

This is a paradigm shift from procedural to object-oriented languages.
There'll be bumps in the road [I'm pushing 70 (have to weigh the importance
and duration of projects], but look forward to learning something new.

Other interests are cryptology; classical music; astronomy; cosmology. pi;
clear, concise, and correct usage of the English language, ...
