Hello Brad and Others,

Thanks for having me on the list.

My name is Guido Witmond. Living in the Netherlands.

I'm interested in privacy and least-authority systems because I believe
the world needs them urgently, given the huge number of problems with
security and privacy on the Internet for the common man.

I've played with Tahoe since version 1.8.3 but so far only on my laptop
and virtual machines on it.

My wish is to join the VG2 to see how the system behaves when a network
connection is involved.

After that I intent to provide a friendnet for friends and family. The
focus will be on long term reliable storage so I expect to dive into the
GC and lease time challenges.

But that's the future, first I'll do more mundane things as packaging
and getting people to use tahoe.

I've packaged 1.9.1 in a .deb for sid but need to reinstate my debian
account and get it in the repository.
