[volunteergrid2-l] stats gatherer

Cat is now reporting to Chris' stats gatherer.

As a side note on governance:

On things like this, I tend to do "voting" by affirmation -- if there is NO
discussion, or NO compelling reason given for not adopting the new policy
or practice, I consider the "motion" to "carry by affirmation." No vote is
taken, the discussion is recorded in the "minutes" of the email list, and
the policy is affirmed as accepted on the list and the wiki is updated.

I will not (and encourage others to do the same) adopt a controversial
policy or action without a vote if there is one member opposed to the new
policy or action.
