    1 In [5187/ticket393-MDMF-2], is it possible that {{{offset}}} and {{{date.get_size()}}} are both zero, in which case {{{end_segment}}} will end up as -1?

    33I looked for other possible fencepost errors and couldn't see any. I don't think that we need to short-circuit the segment calculations for SDMF.
