wrong error message when server is unreachable

Reported by: zooko Owned by: somebody
Priority: major Milestone:
Component: component1 Version:
Keywords: Cc:

Description

If the server you are loading a tiddly_on_tahoe from is unreachable, or if it fails, then TW says something like

The original file 'http://testgrid.allmydata.org:3567/uri/URI%3ADIR2%3Alq5unk3sdmwqckzey573b35paa%3Azshb54dvy4jmpdxjlptn6ttm4m7awi7xf7hqtwmvjriy6ryeb7ya/wiki.html' does not appear to be a valid TiddlyWiki

This is misleading to the user, or at least useless to them. :-)

And in another state (namely when I just now started the tahoe node), I get a different error message:

It's not possible to save changes. Possible reasons include:
- your browser doesn't support saving (Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari and Opera all work if properly configured)
- the pathname to your TiddlyWiki file contains illegal characters
- the TiddlyWiki HTML file has been moved or renamed
