Note that the job is not exactly to *solve* their problem (which might
be easy or might be very difficult, depending on what the problem is),
the job is to make sure the information about the existence of the
problem gets entered into our database where we, and they, can track
progress on it, and to thank them for writing.

Of course, if the problem is easily solved then it is better to solve
it than to track it.

Maybe I'll do one of those five myself to demonstrate what I mean...
