I created that policy and while I didn't get much objection, I'm not sure

generate discussion, to get people to ask so that any potential problems
could be highlighted.
I don't think we need to establish specific rules for distance, and I think
across the street is fine. There are some failure modes that can take out
two nodes located that close together, but even that much distance avoids
other potential simultaneous failures.
One question, would the two nodes be on the same circuit (DSLAM, etc.) of
the same ISP? They're probably on the same segment of the power grid, too.
Anyone have other thoughts?
