[volunteergrid2-l] Introducers, Single points of failure and "buses"

Another discussion we need to have is distribution of the introducer.
As it stands, the introducer is the single-point-of-failure in Tahoe-LAFS.
I have intentionally set up the introducer furl to point to a domain name
rather than the IP of my server so that the nodes do no have to be repointed
if something happens to my server -- I just have to deploy a new introducer
and update the DNS table to point to the new home of the introducer.
This somewhat mitigates the single-point-of-failure as far as the actual
server is concerned. I will make a backup of the introducers files and keep
them on an encrypted volume in my pocket, which is all well and good, but
only goes so far....
Now, what happens if I "get hit by a bus?"
Thoughts?

- Think carefully.
