Description

Many features in Tahoe are blocked by the lack of a short-key signing algorithm that will be supported indefinitely. There are two other tickets about the internals of pycryptopp's as-yet-disabled EC-DSA implementation (#2 for key generation, #3 for verifying-key serialization), both of which are blockers for this ticket.

This ticket can be closed when a new pycryptopp release is made which offers pycryptopp.publickey.ecdsa.SigningKey() and VerifyingKey().
