Hi there! I've reviewed this patch--attachment:tahoe-doc.patch .

It all looks good. I just have one question:

usage of Tor's Hidden Service authentication mechanisms may also be relevant.

How could Tor's Hidden Service authentication mechanisms apply here? I don't know anything about those mechanisms, and presumably some readers of this doc don't either. Could you give an example of how someone might use this mechanism for authentication of some Tahoe-LAFS server or client or something?

There is some Tahoe+Tor-related documentation in docs/configuration.rst; I am working on improving it and possibly writing a separate tor-specific document.

Meanwhile, people using Tahoe with Tor should be aware of issues #1942 and #1947.

Here are the current versions of these docs at this writing:

https://github.com/tahoe-lafs/tahoe-lafs/blob/517.tor-i2p-documentation.0/docs/anonymity-configuration.rst

Brian said on the Nuts & Bolts call today that he agreed that the 3 client use cases and the 3 server use cases in this doc (https://github.com/tahoe-lafs/tahoe-lafs/blob/517.tor-i2p-documentation.0/docs/anonymity-configuration.rst#use-cases) made sense to him.
