Description
According to http://git-annex.branchable.com/bugs/Can__39__t_initialize_Tahoe_special_remote/?updated git-annex currently can't use its tahoe-lafs backend. We didn't change this behavior in Tahoe-LAFS recently, so I wonder if something changed in git-annex or if the user is using git-annex in an unusual way.

This only happens with a 1.9.x version of tahoe-lafs and not current version; I've changed git-annex to use a different directory anyway. This ticket can be closed.
